Road Repair Contract Award
Following the competitive bid process opened at the March 11 meeting, three bids were received. Midwest Paving Inc. submitted the low bid of $124,500.00 for the 2026 Township Road Repair Program, covering resurfacing of four road segments totaling 3.2 miles.

Park Improvement — DNR Grant Application
The Township applied for a DNR Recreation Passport Grant of $75,000 to fund improvements to Millbrook Township Park, including new playground equipment and restroom renovation. Supervisor Whitfield presented the completed application for board authorization.

The Michigan Township Association Annual Meeting will be held June 18–20, 2026 in Traverse City. Trustee Santos requested authorization for interested board members to attend.

8.Public Comment
Resident Diane Mercer, 2248 Oak Street, spoke regarding road conditions on Oak Street between US-27 and the township limits. Supervisor Whitfield noted the road is on the 2027 plan and directed the clerk to send Ms. Mercer the road prioritization schedule.
